Pepper: You’re right, it’s still awful. But now that we see the cracks, maybe there’s something we can do to stop it.
Charlie: Pepper, we’re fourteen.
Pepper shrugs.
Pepper: Well, everyone is fourteen SOMETIMES.
The bell starts ringing in the background. Avery looks to Charlie.
Avery: That was the bell. Time for etiquette already.
The three girls walk off down the hall. Pepper looks like she’s holding court.
Pepper: It’s almost unimaginable, but I think Miss Page might be more reasonable than Miss Ghelhel today.
