Int. The Dining Hall – Late Afternoon, the sky is pinkish outside
Charlie, Pepper and Avery are on their hands and knees, scrubbing the floors of the dining hall. All the tables have been pushed toward the walls. They look like they’ve been working for a long time, they’re slightly disheveled.
Charlie: You know what I just realized?
Her brush keeps scrubbing without her touching it.
Pepper: What?
Charlie: After we’re done scrubbing, everybody will come in to have dinner and make the floor dirty again.
Avery, sarcastic: Thanks, that’s a cheerful thought.
