Charlie, Pepper and Avery struggle to their feet, looking disheveled from their fall. Miss Careine wags her finger at them angrily.

Miss Careine: You can kiss your free day goodbye! You’ll be spending it preparing the dining hall for the Minister of Education’s reception!

Pepper: But-

Miss Careine: Don’t test me, or I’ll send you straight to Miss Page!

The three of them turn white.

Avery and Pepper, in unison: Yes, Miss Careine!

Charlie signs “yes” along with them.
