TRANSCRIPT
Aurelie enters the chapel. It looks like it’s sunset outside, and the chapel is completely empty. She’s all alone. Looking stricken, she walks down one of the aisles, keeping her eyes on the giant, round, stained-glass window on the far wall. It’s the symbol of the mortal god, an eye with a line drawn straight through it. She falls to her knees, then looks up at the window again. She crosses her arms over her body, with her hands resting on her shoulders.
Aurelie: Please, take this away from me.
Every time I look at this page, it hurts my heart. I want her safe.
